MP Sports Terms & Conditions
By booking a place on one of our Multi-Sports Courses, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 A place on a Multi-Sports Course is only confirmed once the booking has been completed and full payment has been received.
1.2 Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.3 Registration for each Multi-Sports Course must be completed by the published registration deadline stated on our website or promotional material.
1.4 Where places remain available after the published registration deadline, late registrations may be accepted at our discretion. If you wish to enquire about availability after the deadline, please email mpsportscoaching@gmail.com.
1.5 By making a booking, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child attending the course or that you have the authority to make the booking on their behalf.
2. Cancellation by the Parent or Guardian
2.1 If you need to cancel your child's place, you must notify us by email as soon as possible.
2.2 As our Multi-Sports Courses require us to commit to coaching staff and other administrative and operational costs in advance, the following cancellation terms apply:
More than 28 days before the course start date – Full refund subject to a £5 processing/administration fee.
Between 14 and 28 days before the course start date – 50% refund.
Less than 14 days before the course start date – No refund.
2.3 If we are able to fill your child's place from a waiting list or through a late booking, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a larger refund.
2.4 No refunds will be given for:
Non-attendance.
Leaving the course early.
Illness or injury occurring before or during the course.
Changes in personal or family circumstances.
Travel disruption or other events outside our reasonable control.
2.5 Refunds or credits outside these terms may be offered entirely at our discretion in exceptional circumstances and do not create a precedent for future bookings.
3. Cancellation by MP Sports Coaching
3.1 If we have to cancel a Multi-Sports Course due to circumstances within our control, you will be offered either:
A full refund; or
A transfer to another available Multi-Sports Course.
4. Circumstances Outside Our Control
4.1 MP Sports Coaching will not be responsible or liable if a Multi-Sports Course cannot take place due to circumstances outside of our reasonable control.E.g.flooding, fire, venue closure, government restrictions, power failures, or other unexpected events that prevent the course from running safely.
4.2 Where this happens, we will make every reasonable effort to arrange an alternative date for the course to take place.
4.3 Normal poor weather conditions, such as rain, will not usually prevent the course from taking place. MP Sports Coaching has a wet weather plan in place and will make reasonable adjustments to activities and the programme where necessary to allow the course to continue safely.
5. Medical Information, Additional Needs and Support Requirements
5.1 Parents or guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration regarding any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, injuries, behavioural needs, disabilities or additional support requirements that may affect their child's participation.
5.2 Providing this information allows MP Sports Coaching to plan appropriately, make reasonable adjustments where possible, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants and staff.
5.3 Parents or guardians should contact us before the course begins if there are any specific requirements, concerns or adjustments that need to be discussed.
5.4 Failure to disclose relevant medical, behavioural or support information that may affect the safety or wellbeing of the child, other participants or our staff may result in the child being unable to attend or continue participating.
6. Illness or Injury During the Course
6.1 If a child becomes unwell or is injured during the course, we will contact the parent, guardian or emergency contact as soon as reasonably possible.
6.2 Where appropriate, parents or guardians may be required to collect their child before the end of the session.
6.3 In the event of a medical emergency, and where a parent or emergency contact cannot be reached promptly, you authorise MP Sports Coaching to seek appropriate emergency medical treatment for your child.
7. Behaviour
7.1 All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, staff and fellow participants.
7.2 MP Sports Coaching reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is considered unsafe, abusive, disruptive or likely to negatively affect the enjoyment or safety of others.
7.3 No refund will be provided where a participant is removed due to unacceptable behaviour.
8. Collection of Children
8.1 Children must be collected promptly at the advertised finishing time.
8.2 To allow your child to walk home after our Multi-Sports Course they must bring a note with them signed by their parent/guardian.
9. Photography and Video
9.1 By booking your child onto a Multi-Sports Course, you consent to photographs and/or videos being taken during the course for promotional purposes.
9.2 No identifiable photograph or video of your child will be used on our website or other promotional materials without first contacting you to obtain your agreement for that specific use.
9.3 If you do not wish for your child to be photographed during the course, or if you withdraw your consent at any time, please notify us in writing before the course begins or speak to a member of staff on arrival. We will ensure your wishes are respected.
10. Personal Belongings
10.1 Children should not bring valuables to the course.
10.2 MP Sports Coaching cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence.
11. Liability
11.1 Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11.2 Subject to the above, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking.
12. Data Protection
12.1 Any personal information collected during registration will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.
13. Programme Changes
13.1 We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to activities, coaches, venues, session timings or the course programme where necessary.
